What makes Svaroopa so different
1. We don't teach stretching, over-stretching your muscles will create overstretched ligaments & therefore unstable joints. We teach you how to release the muscle tension, without stretching.
2. We aren't teaching exercise. There are plenty of yoga practices that can be practiced in lieu of exercise. The goal of a Svaroopa Yoga practice is not to look a certain way, or to create a body that looks "fit". On a physical level you will be learning how to decompress, how to release tension in your body/mind, how to un-contract (a new word I just made up).
3. You will learn "Embodyment" - how to be present in your own body. This is method of using mostly simple poses, precise alignment along with propping and individual attention, will teach you a whole new way to live, move, think and feel.
